Pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather is willing to face Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao once again for the cash prize of $2 million.

In the basketball court, that is.

Mayweather was sighted in Las Vegas observing the Meralco Bolts during their training camp there, according to an Instagram post by Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, the wife of Meralco assistant coach Paolo Trillo.

“So does Pac play with you guys too?” Mayweather reportedly told Paolo Trillo when the two had a chance encounter, according to Trillo’s wife.

Trillo then explained to Mayweather that Pacquiao is in fact a playing coach in the PBA.

“I’ll play PAC one-on-one anytime for $2M!” Mayweather continued, then responding to Paolo’s question if the boxer can take on Pacquiao, listed as a playing coach for Mahindra in the PBA, in a basketball game.

“How do you think I started? I started playing basketball on the streets when I was young!” Mayweather said.

Mayweather was reportedly observing NBA players in Meralco’s training camp and dropped by there just a few hours before his weigh-in for his fight against Andre Berto on Sunday.

Mayweather has recently been accused of doping in his megafight with Pacquiao last May.

The undefeated American has denied the issue and reiterated that “I’m very proud to be a clean athlete,” but Pacquiao nevertheless demanded punishment and a rematch against him.

Mayweather edged Pacquiao via unanimous decision on May 2 in the megafight that made record-breaking revenues, making it the richest bout in boxing history.
